Corian is quite an ingenious material when it comes to building various furniture pieces. Take the Clover Table in the images below that has been crafted from a single sheet of Corian. That's possible due to Corian's special properties. Heating the material up to 300F gives lets you mold it as you see fit. From the flat surface above a clover-shaped piece has been cut out and then the remaining material has been bent to form the three legs of the Clover Table. The table is more than resistant and will easily hold the glass sheet on top and it will certainly make an impression with your guests. Via Wertel Oberfell
I know in a couple of days its going to be freezing here and the mere thought of even venturing outdoors would be scary. However if you are in the Southern Hemisphere or a tropical country (lucky you) then you can certainly enjoy the wonders of the HAUS series of conversation pods. Designed by Alexander Lotersztain, these compact mini houses have been inspired by the fairy tale 'the three little pigs' and the idea is to get together with family and friends for some scintillating conversation in a private space. Designed Alexander Lotersztain collaborated with Corian by Dupont, Bisazza, Laminex Group and Euroluce Lighting to create this intelligent space for intimate conversations.

Behold, the ancient power of windmills! It's no mistake that windmills have been so prevalent in horror movies over the course of our recent past – the very thought of such a majestic beast being blown to bits gives me the shivers! Projects design group reminds us that windmills are amongst humankind's oldest energy sources, turning water and wind into pure power! Thusly, they've made an object to remind us of that excellent trade here, in the Turbino watch.
Turbino is a watch that pulsates with red and black loveliness. And it's not just an artist watch, nay, it shows the time too! Two white hands tell the time while their brothers and sisters activate your wrist 24 hours a day. It's completely hypnotic. Not to be stared at while you're driving your semi truck down the highway. Be careful!

I'm always thinking of new ways to stand my pans. That's why I love it whenever I get to write about a new pan stand. This particular pan stand comes from designer Damian Evans who has done this lovely design for the folks over atHahn Cookwear. This stand, says Evans, was designed as a modern alternative to the traditional pan stand, and it uses a chromed steel frame with colored plastic arms to do its everloving pan holding job.The plastic arms are available in blue, cream, or black. I personally go for the brightest color I can in basically any situation, so probably I'd have to snap up the blue. You?

There has been no shortage of Coca-Cola bottle redesign concepts, but in my opinion Jerome Olivet's takes the cake.
"Mystic surprised by its beauty and intensity. It was created to live an intense and fleeting moment. Its racy style describes a supernatural world which soars skyward. Its skin has a sculpted unique spiritual experience.
We discover in the palm of our hand soft and aerodynamic forms. Its living surface is shaped by a force mysterious and transparent.
It sends us all the energy and excitement of Coca-Cola Its sexy lines and red color give happiness in 3 dimensions.
Both organic shapes intertwine and form a body ambiguous and fascinating. Its loving silhouette, ties into a true popular poetry."
