Korean designers Jin Sik Kim and Bo Sung came up with an interesting bike-based, renewable energy generating concept that takes biking to yet another level of sustainability. The concept generator, dubbed as Re:Energy, harnesses rotational energy and stores it in batteries at the front wheel for future use. This stored energy could later be used to recharge electronic devices, like camera, mp3, mobile phones or laptops.
It's undeniably an impressive concept that adds another, fine gradation to your thoughtful bike use. Therefore, when you feel like being outdoors for hours on your bike, you never need to worry about those dying batteries of portable gadgets. What you need to do, instead, is pedal harder to help your bike generate energizers for your devices.
