This massive 1.25 kilo-Joule coilgun uses electromagnetism to launch a projectile at high velocities. We've covered a few different types of coil guns in the past, but this one is probably the most powerful one we've seen yet. Coilguns use energy to "pull" a projectile through a series of coils until it's launched out of the gun's barrel.
