Bose has a new toy for your living room. It's called the Bose VideoWave Entertainment System, and it'll merge sound and picture like never before, or so they say, and delivering cinematic performance from invisible speakers built into an HD display. This integrated system also eliminates a roomful of speakers, wires and complexity. The VideoWave consists of 46-inch 1080p LCD TV, a separate console connected by a proprietary Bose cable, an iPod dock, and a remote control. The system provides a total of 16 speakers, which include six subwoofers and a new Bose-developed technology called PhaseGuide that sends high-frequency sound from the set to every corner of the room, creating sound that originates from the TV but that you hear coming from around and behind you. The Bose VideoWave Entertainment System retails for $5,349.
