tangible interaction: social media portal

social media portal is a project by vancouver interactive studio tangible interaction that allows users to upload
social media content from a kiosk. the idea behind the project is to capture the virtual potential of large real world
events. the portal would act as a gateway, connecting these events with online. the kiosk generates photos,
messages and other content and immediately uploads it to the web using social networks of a users custom
website. photos are easily captured through the device and brought online in an attempt to bridge the gap
between virtual and physical events. in this sense, the design is a digital photobooth that posts photos online
instead of printing them out.
