This beach house by Bark Architects is a modern interpretation of a tree house, with living spaces located above the garden. There is a certain connection between internal and external spaces, through the use of hand operated, perforated sun shutters that also offer privacy and light control. Large stacking sliding doors also provide maximum transparency between living areas and the outdoor. A double height entry space create a grand feeling and reinforces the open floor plan design.
