Graham King Productions said, "The film focuses on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship."
But don't expect to see Brad Pitt or any other famous faces in the flick. Jolie is keeping the casting local, opting to feature actors from "various ethnicities from the region of the former Yugoslavia."
She added in a statement, "I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can."
So that explains why Jolie was spotted scouting for locations in Budapest last weekend -- and why she stopped in Bosnia to talk war refugees with the area's leaders.
