Like Sauerkraut On A Hotdog, HS Motorsport Modifys The Audi S5 Cabrio
In the way that sauerkraut is intended to make a sausage taste infinitely better, German tuning house HS Motorsport has taken the Audi S5 Cabrio to a whole other level of deliciousness. HS Motorsport has put a heavy emphasis on improving the performance of this S5 while only changing the cosmetics ever so slightly. The mad scientists at HS Motorsport have managed to take the S5′s stock 333bhp up to 375bhp through a new stainless steel inclined quad 89mm exhaust system, revised headers and a newly reflashed ECU. The S5 can now achieve a top speed of 180mph thanks to the removal of the 155mph stock speed limiter.
On the outside HS outfitted the S5 with a nice set of 21′ wheels, and a set of 6-piston monoblock Brembo brake calipers with double 380×32 mm disks for plenty of stopping power. Given the fact that this is a mighty fine tune for the Audi S5 as it provides every day drivability with a plethora of power, there are other tunes out there for the S5 that make more use out of the cars potential. If you need to draw my conclusion on sauerkraut….. I'm not a fan. (ZING!)
