Mansory’s Maserati GranTurismo Is Tastefully Overdone
The German supercar tuning company, Mansory, was due to unveil their two latest projects at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Well, one cats out of the bag and she looks pissed off and hungry! Mansory has decided to pull the wraps off of one of their latest projects ahead of schedule, the Maserati GranTurismo tuning kit. Mansory has noticeably tweaked the outside of this Italian steed, but they haven't neglected that Italian V8 either.
The improvements under the hood include a modified ECU, a high-flow air filter and a sexy sports exhaust system with two double-suction tail pipes that add a boost of 30bhp to the V8. This Maserati has also gotten a suspension upgrade in the form of a progressive sports suspension to make proper use of the added power. This customization configuration can be applied to both the GT and GTS models. These tweaks will bump the GranTurismo up to 405bhp while the GranTurismo S get a healthy 440bhp from this package.
When you look at this GT, you know it's not your run of the mill, stock Maserati. The exterior has also had a complete overhaul with tons of carbon fiber accent goodness. The front end of this GT has been redesigned with a new carbon fiber front splitter, a carbon fiber radiator grille, additional carbon fiber inlets and outlets, deep carbon fiber door sills, a carbon fiber rear deck lid spoiler, carbon inlay applied to the rear quad-exhaust and a new aggressive rear carbon fiber diffuser. Other notable cosmetic enhancements include a new set of Mansory wheels color matched to the vehicle wrapped in 255/30 R 20 tires up front and 305/30 R 21 rubbers outback. Interior modifications include gorgeous high quality leather, aluminum pedals and a new F1 inspired, carbon fiber steering wheel. Check out their website for more information and watch out for the Mansory GT and another unnamed project to make it's debut at the Paris Motor Show. source
